Mid-term Evaluation and Partnership Reflection Meeting

Power to You(th) is buzzing with energy and inspiration following our recent mid-term evaluation and partnership reflection meeting in the vibrant city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia!

Our gathering was a celebration of our unwavering commitment to excellence and impact in empowering adolescent girls and young women within our communities. As we delved into our pillars, it was very clear that we are not just a partnership; we are a dynamic force committed to making a real difference.

Throughout the meeting, several pivotal themes emerged:
🔸 Enhanced Partnership and Collaboration: We emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships and collaboration to achieve greater impact and sustainability.
🔸 MTE Findings and Recommendations: A comprehensive review of the Mid-Term Evaluation findings led to brainstorming solutions and strategies to address challenges highlighted in the synthesis and partnership report.
🔸 Southern Leadership: We explored the complexities of power dynamics related to gender, partnership hierarchies, and resource distribution.
🔸 Sustainability: With a focus on program longevity and effectiveness, we discussed ways to mitigate the challenges outlined in the Mid-term Evaluation report.
🔸 Innovation and Forward Planning: The meeting highlighted the importance of innovation, forward planning, and #gendertransformativeapproaches to drive the program forward.
🔸 Coordination and Integration: We identified gaps and discussed strategies to enhance coordination in our partnership.
🔸 Advocacy and Communication: An innovative marketplace approach emphasized effective advocacy and communication strategies to engage partners and stakeholders.
🔸 Reflection and Learning: Throughout the meeting, we emphasized reflection and learning, using co-creation to syphon country and context-specific recommendations.

These themes collectively shaped our discussions, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the Power to You(th) partnership.
